Maira Chiodi shows off some of her lovely artwork and icons for an upcoming XO nutrition game on her blog. I can’t wait to see a demo. Alongside the FoodForce 2 simulation, this makes for a nice addition to the casual activities available to develop strategies for planning.

Lionel, I don’t know much about either the health or the reading game that this design group is working on. I asked Maira for an update; it would certainly be great to see renewed global discussion on our health mailing-list about combining current initiatives.
There has also been new interest from the Hesperian Foundation to make their currently pdf-only books available in more flexible formats for use in other media, though they still have little in the way of technical resources.
… and with another – uruguayan of course – initiative carried out by the CeibalJam, and known as “conozco alimentos” : (see http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/olpc-uruguay/attachments/20100519/c7259ffd/attachment-0002.png for a background image and http://drupal.ceibaljam.org/?q=node/887 for a discussion about this project)
Very interesting. Could you give us more information about the game (the link on “Iregular design” on the blog seems to be broken). We’re working with a famous french company on a nutrition game for the XO, may be we could you join both initiative ?
